Museum hosts Lego/Star Wars Anniversary Party

Brickspace and Sault Ste. Marie Museum will host an event featuring the work of Lego and the Star Wars team over the last 23 years. 

The purpose of the event is to promote and celebrate the 90th anniversary of The Lego Brick and 45 years of Star Wars Fandom.

The show will take place on Aug. 25.

Sault Ste. Marie Museum will hold an event to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Lego Brick and the 45th anniversary of Star Wars Fandom. Brickspace will feature the proud achievements of Lego Star Wars, Star Wars and their Star Wars teams in the last 23 years. 

The event includes a photo wall, where you can pose in cosplay costumes. Our graphic artists will replace your background with any Star Wars image. Up until stocks run out, drinks and Star Wars-themed doughnuts will be available. Svenny McG offers Star Wars-themed games you can play online at Svenny McG. Find over 100 episodes, from Episode 1 through Episode 9. Lego Star Wars sets. Museum will feature a variety of historic film and media archive, artifacts and other fascinating items. Giveaways will be held throughout the night for best cosplay, and random prizes. 

Donations are accepted only on Thursday, August 25, 2005. The Lego display in the Discovery Room will continue until Monday August 29th. Regular admission rates will return on Saturday. 

There is free parking in the museum’s back parking lot and also nearby in the Albert/Brock Street parking lot.
